Father of the Bride
Kenny G-probably the last person in the room who needs an introduction. If you don't know him now, you soon will.
Mother of the Bride
Everyones official resident "mother". This wedding or life would not have happened without her. She is beloved around the world, I am quite sure.
Maid of Honor
My only sibling. We are complete opposites but in such a good way. If you know our family, you know what I mean. She is the life of a party and the most giving person I know. In the last few years we have become much closer and now she is not only my sister but also my friend. Be sure to grab a drink with her at the reception, you won't regret it.
Bridesmaid
One of my two best friends from college. We developed a strong trio friendship with our third bestie Courtney who is giving us our next niece this year! She is always there for me, makes trips out to Syracuse to spend time with me. Her two daughters Ella and Willow light up my life when we get to spend time together. Be sure to meet her and her family as they are the best kind of unforgettable.
Bridesmaid
Oh Kyi. My best friend in med school since we met around the anatomy table. Our friendship lent itself to everyone calling us by our last names or "the K/Caitlins" because we were always together. Now she is Chief resident of internal medicine at the University of Rochester and a straight up Boss. The person who always makes me laugh, always puts the needs of others before her own, the person who helped to make Tara our bestie, and a genuine old soul. Be sure to share some laughs with her and her handsome husband at the reception.
Bridesmaid
Tara! Kyi and I were on a mission in our anatomy class to make her our third. She is strong, smart, funny, beautiful, kind, and the kind of person you can't help but feel pulled toward in her presence, kind of like gravity. She is my go to for advice when I'm not sure what to do or need someone to believe in me. She is now a brilliant OBGYN and a new momma. You won't help but enjoy your time with her and her Husband Ian (who is now a surgeon and was the president of our med school class). #powercouple
Flower Girl
Look out for these adorable cuties down the isle. They are the daughters of my Bridesmaid Madison and my first nieces. These girls are smart, spunky, fun and all smiles. It has been amazing to watch them grow.
Father of the Groom
A one of a kind ultimate fixer upper. If you see him, make sure he has a drink in his hand. You will be sure to get many stories and laughs.
Mother of the Groom
The Matriarch of the Nelson Fam. She is kind, soft spoken and sweet. Make sure to meet her!
Best Man
Part of the duo of our best "couple" friends, Pat and Sam! Bill and Pat met at work and it grew from there, literally like two peas in a pod. You will not be able to miss these two having a good time at the reception for sure.
Groomsman
Bill's best childhood friend. They grew up together in Texas riding ATVs, hunting, fishing, and playing football. Tyler is a Texas State Trooper and lives in Kingsville, Texas with his wife Kelsey and 3 kids. We don't get to see them often, so we are beyond happy that they are making the journey north for us! You won't be able to miss him by his southern accent :-)
Groomsman
Bob and Shannon are great friends of ours. We have had years of them playing softball and doing trivia together. Bill and Bob still work together at Hayner Hoyt and often work on projects together. Bob and Shannon are growing the sweetest family and we can't wait to celebrate with them.
Groomsman
Bill and Nate met at work and remained friends through the years. Nate and his wife Rachael were one of the early couples to venture out on our boat with us and have since grown a beautiful family. These two always make us laugh and they are sure to be the life of the party at the reception.
