We're getting married! We are so excited to celebrate with you all!

Daniel's perspective: I had just flown home from Colorado for the weekend and decided I would go to the 3-night Closer event at Crosspoint City Church before I flew back. The first night of the event I was standing in the front row talking to Jesse (my best man) when this drop-dead-gorgeous blonde in the second row literally took the breath out of my lungs. I grabbed Jesse's shoulder and said "WHO IS THAT GIRL?" Out of the year I had been going to Crosspoint I had never run into this girl before (probably for good reason), but I had to know who she was. After that service the boys and I did some research to find out who she was, and after a solid Instagram search we found her. She was perfect for me. I came back to Closer the next night and knew I had to make my move before my flight the next morning, so after talking myself out of going up to her about a thousand times, I finally worked up the courage to walk up to her and ask her out on a date! I was greeted with a very reluctant "possibly", but that was all I needed! I was in!!! I flew back out West the next morning, and we talked on the phone for hours and hours while I was pulling my camper back to Georgia. By the time I made it back to Georgia there wasn't a doubt in my mind this was the girl I would spend the rest of my life with! Maddie's perspective: It all started at the weekend of Closer. Most of you know I had not ever really been one to date. Always had standards and knew the type of man I wanted and needed. I remember Tripp pointing out some dude (Daniel lol) in the front row that first night and would not quit talking about his cowhide boots. After the service Tripp came all smiling leaving the bathroom saying he ran into him in the bathroom where they exchanged compliments for each other's boots lol. Tripp then kept saying "Maddie go for the cowboy." I made it quite clear to Tripp I wasn't going after anyone. That night he liked my most recent instagram post. I thought to myself "how did this guy find me?" obviously because of his insta search him and Jesse had. I followed him and he followed me back. Tripp kept on and on to go for him. Again, I was not going to chase a guy or pursue knowing a man is supposed to pursue. The next day he was liking my instagram stories I had posted that day. That night came and Kayleigh and I were standing in the front of the church auditorium just talking with friends and he walks in and I looked at Kayleigh and was like "I think that's that guy". Daniel was with his buddies at the front too talking. We were subtly (not subtly) making eye contact a few times. Service happened and was amazing and now it was time to leave. We had made it to the lobby and I was kinda eyeing Daniel as he was still in the front of the auditorium talking. I had thought maybe he was gonna come up to me or something, but I told myself that, that probably wasn't going to happen. We stayed in the lobby talking and then I looked to my left and saw him talking to a girl. She was wearing cowboy boots and I was like "well that makes sense". I thought maybe I had read into it more than what it was. I was standing there talking with Kayleigh and Jennifer and all the sudden I get this feeling and see from the corner of my eye he is about to walk up to me. He comes right up to me and says, "Are you Maddie?" I was like "Yeah" (freaking out in my head lol) He said "by any chance are you seeing anyone?" I said "no" and then he said he was leaving for CO tomorrow, but would love to take me out when he gets back If I would want to and I met him with a "possibly" lol. We exchanged numbers and talked on the phone the next day. We had our first solo hangout at Noble & Main reading our bibles and he asked to pray and grabbed my hand. I remember thinking that this was the type of man I had always prayed for. A month later he asked me to be his gf and he constantly pursued me and pushed me in my faith. I knew then God sent him to me to be my husband!
