The venue is in a rural area about 1hr 20min from the closest airport, the Norfolk International Airport. Uber and Lyft services may not be available. Please let us know if you will need assistance finding a ride to/from the airport. We would happily help you coordinate!
The reception and ceremony are outdoors, so we encourage you to dress in garden formal attire - elegant but comfortable clothing suitable for an outdoor wedding. Ladies: midi or floor length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or coordinated separates; avoid stilettos. Men: suits or sport coats with dress slacks and a collared shirt. Ties are optional. No tuxedos.

We highly recommend staying in Edenton! It's about a 25min drive from the venue. The Hampton Inn Edenton is the only hotel, and there are several great Bed & Breakfasts' such as the Inner Banks Inn, Springfield Bed & Breakfast, Granville Inn, and the Captain's Quarters Inn. Elizabeth City is also cute with more hotel options, although a little further from the venue, 35 minutes. Please reach out if you need recommendations on where to stay, we'd love to help!
