We Are (Finally) Getting Married!

Ryan and Whitney first met at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She played soccer and he played lacrosse. While it would have made sense to begin a relationship while they both lived in the same city, their interactions never escalated beyond hello or goodbye. Three years after they had both left Chapel Hill, Ryan and Whitney reconnected via Twitter (this is a modern love story). Whitney was living in Sweden while Ryan was working in Charlotte. Several hours of text messages, emails, and FaceTime ensued. Fast forward through three years of long distance and Whitney finally moved to Charlotte . . . only to enter law school an hour and a half north of the city. She finished law school in May of 2020 and accepted a job in the city. The best news is that they are both finally in the same place. Having known each other for thirteen years, dated for seven . . . and now engaged for two due to a global health pandemic (who saw that one coming!) Whitney and Ryan are excited to FINALLY make it Happily Ever After.
