So, it's a rather funny story. It started in March of 2018. It all started with Mutual (a church version of Tinder). Yusuke decided to swipe up on me, and a few days later, I swiped up on him. We were able to message each other, then so I sent him a message. A week later he responded and we ended up becoming facebook friends. We talked very little until November 2018. I went to Epcot at Disney World in Florida and posted some pictures with me and my parents in front of the Torii gates in the Japan district and Yusuke asked if we were actually in Japan or just somewhere that looked like Japan. I told him where we were and that was that. Then I posted a picture of some calligraphy I did with the brush set I bought at Disney. He commented that it looked pretty good. I asked him if I could ask him a question about the Japanese language and pronunciation. He said to just message him and he'd be happy to answer. After answering my question he told me that if I ever went to Japan that I should look him up if I was up to meeting him because he was interested in getting to know me. After that, the rest was history! We talked pretty much every day on messenger and started video chatting regularly and on January 1, 2019 he asked me to be his girlfriend. I accepted and we started making plans to meet. We worked it out so that he could be here for a full month and he arrived on March 26th. He ended up buying a ring and proposing on April 16th, and I said "Of course! Yes!" So, currently we have filed paperwork for a K-1 Fiancé visa to get him here so we can get married. It takes about 6-9 months to be completely processed and do his interview and everything, So, hopefully he will be here very soon and we can actually set a date for our wedding. We will be married in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to be married for time and all eternity, we are excited for this new chapter of our lives together!
