With only 8 days to our big day, we wanted to share this with everyone! We are continuing the wedding as normal with some added precautions. Each server and anyone working at the wedding will be temperature checked before being allowed to work and serve at the event. Each guest will also be subject to a temp check after parking before they will be allowed to enter. For people who would like to wear a mask, mask will be provided. There will also be some sanitation wipes provided before dinner. For right now these are the steps we are taking to be cautious of COVID-19. That being said, I know that everyone's comfort level is different when it comes to COVID-19 so we are mostly leaving it up to the guests to decide what they are comfortable with. For those not comfortable with attending, we will be streaming the ceremony to facebook through our wedding page. I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Invitation Update

May 3rd, 2020

With Governor Kemp opening up Georgia again, we have decided as a couple to proceed with our plans to marry on June 13, 2020. 🥰 Since we are getting married at a private venue, we will be using all the precautions so we can practice social distance seating, and masks will be provided for all guests. It is also an outdoor venue with enough space to social distance as guests please. We know that not everyone will be willing to attend and we fully understand those who are not due to their fear of COVID-19. Invitations were sent out on Friday! If you have any questions, please reach out to Robert or Whitney privately. We hope you all support our decision and look forward to celebrating on our big day!

The Proposal

December 14th, 2019

Robert's proposal to Whitney was everything she asked for and then some! All Whitney asked for was it to be unexpected and surprised filled proposal! Whitney has been really wanting to get Christmas pictures done since it was Trigger's first Christmas with his new family! Robert set it all up on his own. We had a family friend to take our pictures and afterwards we were going to pick out a Christmas Tree! Before getting to Sleepy Hollow Tree Farm, when Whitney was getting ready Robert couldn’t figure out which pair of boots to wear! This was definitely a little weird but it was still something Robert does on a normal basis! Little did she know he was trying to fit the ring box into his boot. Once we got out there, we figured out that most of the good Christmas trees have been taken weeks before. However, we did find an old beat up ’68 Chevy C10 that was set up for Christmas pictures! Little did Whitney know they were there for more than just pictures or buying their first REAL Christmas tree together for Robert’s new house. Once we got to the side of the truck, Robert told Whitney that they weren’t there just for a Christmas tree and Christmas pictures! Robert was there to PROPOSE to Whitney! As Robert was getting down on to his knee Whitney was so SURPRISED!!! Whitney said “YES!!! MOST DEFINITELY!!”
