Answer

The Gallery is located on Tchoupitoulas (Choppa-two-las) Street in the Warehouse District between Notre Dame and Julia Streets. This neighborhood is just four blocks south of the French Quarter and easily accessible on foot from area accommodations or by a short Uber ride.

Putting on the Ritz! We would love for our friends and family to dress to impress in formal attire for our big day, but also have fun! The inspiration is Old Hollywood Glamour meets Jazz Club- sequins, sparkles, feathers, velvet, satin, etc. are all encouraged. Long or mid-length dresses are appropriate and please avoid jeans, shorts, or shades of white.

We love your little ones but please be advised our celebration is an adults only affair. Consider this a “night out” and enjoy yourself!

It is hard to say! January in New Orleans can range from overcast and chilly to temperate like a nice spring day. Take into account the wind chill from the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain- it can be quite breezy! Please watch the weather forecast for more accurate predictions and dress accordingly.

Answer

Yes! Getting around New Orleans is very easy although some methods of transport require more patience than others. Stops for both the St. Charles and Carrollton streetcar lines are adjacent from the French Quarter along the river for access to Central Business District, Garden District, Uptown, and Mid-City locations. Citi Blue Bikes are also parked at turnstiles in select areas for those interesting in cycling. We recommend downloading the city's RTA Le Pass app for digital ride fares, routes, and further information. Pedi-cabs are also available for shorter distances across the congested French Quarter, Bywater, and Warehouse District neighborhoods. Additionally, Uber and Lyft operate fully all over the city.

A limited room block is being secured at the Old 77 Hotel & Chandlery just a few blocks from the venue at 535 Tchoupitoulas Street. However, there are so many options for accommodations in the vicinity! Approximately a dozen hotels are located within a ten minute walk from the venue, as are numerous Air BnB and VRBO options.
