We’re getting married… For real this time!

We originally met through the dating app, Tinder. Luke would message me random snail facts from his MCT to whatever phone console I was on…yes while I was answering 911 calls. It always made me laugh! Besides that we didn’t talk until I became his dispatcher for the EMS board and he liked what he heard… I’m not kidding when I say he has hundreds of videos of me over the radio saying 10-4. That went on for a few months until I finally agreed to meet him for coffee one morning after work. Since we both worked night shift, after work was around 7am. We met at Reverie Coffee Roasters in downtown Wichita. As cheesy as it sounds… as soon as I got out of my car and saw him at the door, I knew he was the one.

Well this day was FULL of surprises to say the least!! Luke had this whole thing planned out for months before he actually did it. I knew something was up because he can’t keep secrets, but I had absolutely no idea what the day would hold. It started like any other day. I got home from getting my nails done with my mom and that’s where the story unfolds. Each clue led me somewhere special. If you know us, you know we call Holiday our Turkey so instead of a scavenger hunt, it was a turkey hunt. There was a special person at each place waiting for me with a clue and flowers. Luke made it such a special day I will remember and cherish forever!
