Both of us so close to giving up on love and after a series of major life changes, God had a plan for our lives to cross at the perfect time. Being newly single and having just lost my dog; I was in the middle of a major career change, purchasing a building through his brother, his mom and friends had also asked multiple times for us to meet! Yet I had already turned him down twice, ha! One sunday, I changed my families brunch plans last minute and we ran into each other. He asked my expertise as a PT, and my simple dinner invite to him turned into many late night conversations. I felt like a giddy high schooler, we were nothing like the other thought! Within two weeks of knowing each other, we knew something was different. With multiple prophecies from both our families, friends and patients who barely knew us, we knew what we were feeling wasn’t “crazy”. Unbeknownst to me he was also planning his proposal two weeks after we met. One month in we looked at rings, not telling anyone, and he began writing me letters. He told me later his parents offered his grandmother’s diamond the same day we looked when no one knew! It was exactly what we had just looked at! Feeling like we’d known each other a lifetime, we began to plan a wedding. Multiple individual decisions led to us setting a date of 3-3-2019 at 3pm. Completely unplanned, yet another prophecy of divine wholeness. Feeling pressured by my planning nature, Josh hurried his proposal plans. I was oblivious as to what these letters were going to mean. On day 102 he had a “feeling” that today was the day. The beautiful letters were finished and handed to me, spelling out “will you marrry me”. I said yes before he even got out the words to ask me. That day was my late grandfathers birthday, whom I was close with, and admired he and my grandmothers marriage. Another sign, Josh had no clue what 11/16 meant to me. To our future together, God is so good! I love you, you are my greatest adventure!
