Joe and Whitney may or may not have matched on a dating app six years ago, and Joe may or may not have foolishly failed to ask Whitney on a date then. But the timing wasn't right. Neither of us were ready for each other. God had a bigger plan. Fast forward to June 2024. The Good Lord ordained that we'd match again. And of course, the timing was right this time. Our first date was at the most romantic Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard in an Apple Valley strip mall known to man. So romantic and successful that it's no longer in business. Joe's first thought was, "Wow, she's so gorgeous" and he was attracted to her intellectual curiosity and love for God. Whitney's was, "Wow, he's so happy to see me" and she was immediately drawn to his positive energy, fun-loving spirit, and love for Jesus. The connection was instant. From that first date, Joe made his intentions crystal clear, never letting a day go by without showing Whitney how serious he was. As the dates added up, so did our love for each other. No amount of false political attack ads could stop what God was doing.
