Fred and I first met in High School during a random fire drill under the bleachers. A little birdie told me that Fred had a crush on me and wanted to meet, so I was interested in seeing him. After meeting each other during the fire drill, we locked eyes, spoke and kept it moving. Fred was on the football team and I was in the marching band, so we crossed paths a few times. We eventually started dating on and off my Sophomore year. We had our first official date at Regal 20 and saw Fat Albert, lol, horrible choice in movie, I know, smh. I moved away my Junior Year of High School and decided to come back for College. Throughout that time period, we stayed in touch and that’s when I slowly began to realize that we had strong feelings for one another. Later on, we decided to date again and the rest was history. Every since then, as as couple we made some major accomplishments from graduating College, achieving career advancements, becoming home owners and being blessed with our little angel. The day came to celebrate our baby girl at her Baby Shower. I remember the day as if it was yesterday. I got my hair did, face beat and not to mention Fred and I was looking good in our all white. The decor was beautiful and the room was filled with close family and friends. The party was wrapping up, so we began to open gifts. All the gifts were so adorable. I got to the last gift which seem like it took forever for me to open. I finally was able to get into the box and pulled out a onesie that read, "Mommy will you marry my daddy?". I was sooo shocked!!! I cried tears of joy. That was the best surprise proposal and not to mention the ring is beautiful. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with my future hubby and making memories as a family.
