We’re getting married!

They say opposites attract. Well, Whitney and Dillon are about all the proof anyone can need of that saying. She is the social butterfly and always on the go. He is the shy, introvert you can usually find close to home. He was the best man in his best friend’s wedding, where her brother was also a groomsman. When her brother sent her a text that said, “I’ve found you a boyfriend,” Whitney rolled her eyes and ignored it. But when her brother’s then fiancè, now wife, also texted her and said, “Seriously Whit! He is handsome! You should at least give it a shot!” Whitney asked, “okay, who is this? Surely I know him....” when her sister in law responded with “Dillon Mayberry” Whitney responded, “yeah right! He’s way too quiet and shy for me!” All the while, Dillon’s family was hoping he might meet someone at the wedding! Little did everyone know, after he got her phone number (and she called him out for waiting so long to call or text her!) that Sunday night of the Victory wedding, that same Friday would be both of their last first dates. Their families have been friends for years, and everyone has said, “they should’ve set this up years ago” but thank goodness her brother and sister in law and his best friend had this in the works when they did, because their timing was perfect! So shout to Tyler and Mari for playing matchmakers and Travis and Heather for getting hitched! 😜
