Long story short my parents were in town visiting from Florida. Fast forward to the last night of my parents being in town and we were all sitting out on our patio at out home. David had been acting weird ALL DAY and I even made fun of him for having sweat stains on his tee-shirt. David stood up and said "actually I would like to say something to the family." Which if any of you know David well, that is really unusual for him. Then in front of my parents, step-brothers, sister, and her boyfriend. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! We always joke around that he did it in his American Flag crocs, but we wouldn't want it any other way!
