Sun Valley Resort offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), located just 14 miles south of the resort in Hailey, Idaho.

Boise Airport (BOI)

If flying into Boise, we recommend renting a car for the 2.5 hour drive to Sun Valley. Alternatively, the Sun Valley Express also offers shuttle service to and from the Boise airport. Call (800) 727-9925 for more information.

Travel between Ketchum and Sun Valley

Ketchum and Sun Valley are about 1 mile apart. It will be a cold walk, so feel free to take the Free Bus. It runs all day and night, about every 15 minutes or so. You can see the route on the link that is attached, but there should be no issues going between Sun Valley and Ketchum, whether you are staying in one, or just want to visit the other. You would want to focus on pages 7-9 of the attachment for the route. They have a map showing the different stops from the mountain lodges through ketchum and then onto the Resort.

Shuttle from Ketchum and Sun Valley to Ceremony

Separate buses will run from Hotel Limelight in Ketchum and the Baldy Bus loop in the Sun Valley Resort property, to the wedding venue. At the beginning of the event, buses begin running 30 minutes before the ceremony and make an additional loop for guests following the first pick up. The buses will also be staged outside of the venue at 9:30pm for any guests looking to depart early. The buses will make continuous loops to the pick up locations throughout the night and will be in place following last call as the guests make their way out (~12am). The buses can also drop any guests off on main street if they are looking to continue the evening at one of the local bars in Ketchum. Guests are responsible for getting themselves home from main street in Ketchum.

Shuttle to/from Airport to Sun Valley or Ketchum

Courtesy Transportation is provided by the Sun Valley Resort from the Hailey airport to the property. Paid transportation can be arranged from the Boise Airport to the Sun Valley Resort. Courtesy Transportation is provided from most Ketchum hotels from the Hailey airport to their property - only 13 miles. Make sure you book the transportation with the property that you are staying at.
