On September 25, 2021, Ben and Whitney went on their very first date—roller skating in Memphis, TN! From that moment on, they both knew that God had blessed them with something truly special. Even when Whitney moved to San Francisco in 2022 for her first job after college, their connection never wavered. They dated long-distance until, just a few months later, Ben made the big move to San Francisco too—finding a job and a place of his own to be closer to the woman he knew was the love of his life. For the next two years, the two were inseparable! Then, in July 2024, Ben took Whitney on a birthday trip to O‘ahu, Hawaii. The day after her birthday, in the most beautiful moment of her life, he got down on one knee and proposed. They’ll never forget the peace, love, and thankfulness they felt in that moment. Today, Ben and Whitney still live and work in San Francisco—Ben as an Account Executive in tech sales, and Whitney as a Senior Research Strategist at an advertising agency. They’re also proud puppy parents to Memphis, their one-year-old Mini Goldendoodle—named after the city where it all began. All praises to God 🤍
