When should I RSVP by?

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We love kids, but this will be an adults-only celebration!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you choose to use our supplied transportation, you will be picked up at the Four Seasons Vail at 2:30pm and will arrive to the venue around 3:30-3:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. If you decide to use your own transportation, please give yourself enough time. Piney River Ranch is about a one hour drive from Vail Village on a bumpy, dirt road.

Will I be able to call an Uber/Lyft/cab from Piney River Ranch?

Answer

No. There is no cell service or wifi at Piney River Ranch.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Weather up in the mountains in July can range from being very hot to very chilly! The sun is intense during the day. Wear sunscreen! When the sun goes down, it can get chilly. Bring a light jacket for the evening. Keep your eye on the weather. It's common to get afternoon rain/thunder storms.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting). The reception will be inside in the lodge.

Will I be okay wearing high heeled shoes?

Answer

Yes, but avoid stiletto heels. The ceremony will be outdoors on a wooden balcony. The reception will be inside the lodge. However, when you arrive to the venue, you will have to walk through rocks/gravel. If you want to walk around and explore the venue grounds, expect rocks, gravel and dirt.
