Our love story started just like so many millennials these days...on a dating app. Alex & Whitney swiped right on Hinge on each other by their common love for tacos and Jesus. The next day after they matched, Alex drove to Dallas to take Whitney on a date for Thai food (which he had never had, but knew Whitney liked it because of her profile). Over dinner, the two easily could not take their eyes off of each other and their conversation was as natural as could be. Both agreed after the fact, that they were so nervous, that they could not even recall what they even talked about, but they knew they adored each other. Before the night ended, Alex said to Whitney "I know this may be too soon, but would you like to go to church with me tomorrow and meet my dogs." Ever since that date, Alex and Whitney started seeing each other for church dates every Sunday and Tuesday night. This easily allowed the couple to see their relationship with the Lord and allowed them to start falling in love with each other (which Alex confessed at a mere three weeks into the relationship). Through dating, Whitney & Alex have traveled, made the sweetest memories, tried every foodie spot in FWTX, found a home church at Citylife, made great friends. They have gone through hardships and grown together in a way that has shown each other what unconditional love is and how they want their marriage to be a symbol to show others Christ unconditional love for others. A year and a half later, Whitney & Alex are eloping in Tulum Mexico and will start fixing up their dream home this fall in Fort Worth, TX with their pups Kai and Luke.
