We met at a mutual friend’s birthday party at Mug Shots in Allendale! We ended up sitting next to each other and talked the whole night. We made plans for a first date for the next evening at Westside Social and have been together ever since!

We planned a trip to visit Whitney’s family in Georgia, with a weekend stop in Greenville, South Carolina. On Saturday, November 2nd, we headed downtown Greenville for dinner and took a stroll through Falls Park afterward. While overlooking the falls from a bench, Adam asked someone to take our picture—then got down on one knee and proposed! To celebrate, Adam had made rooftop reservations for drinks and dessert, where we enjoyed a special moment together. The next morning, we drove to Georgia and shared dinner with Whitney’s family, surprising everyone with the exciting engagement news.
