We met working in a soybean research lab while in undergrad at Mississippi State. At first we didn't think too much about, but after quite a few "coincidental" run-ins things seems to change. We went to a Christmas party. I wore a Santa sweater and he rocked a Santa beard. We both knew this could be something.

I was visiting Montgomery for a weekend. We had a very normal day. The only thing that was slightly weird was Jesse kept insisting that I dress up for dinner (he normally prefers "comfy" clothes). On our way to eat, he pulled over to a beautiful spot near where his brother got married and said something to the extent of, "I don't know. Will you just marry me?" Of course I said, "YES"! His twin sister, Jennie, took one for the team and hid in the mosquito infested bushes just to capture it all. We left to meet up with the rest of his family for dinner, but when we got there I had another surprise- all of my friends and family were there waiting to celebrate the moment with us! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!

Jesse is currently in his second year of dental school at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. Hannah is also in Jackson where she just started her third year of medical school at UMMC.
