We love visiting Gas Works Park on a beautiful day because it has the best view of the city from Lake Union. Just a short 10-min walk away is also one of our favorite breweries, Fremont Brewing, who have some of the best local craft brews in town.
We love bringing our first time guests here to sample all the delicious food and checkout views of the pier! Here are some of our favorite spots, all within walking distance on the same block: 1. Athenian; The bar has amazing views of the ferris wheel, city skyline and the Olympic mountain range on a clear day.) 2. Pike Place Chowder; One of our favorite eateries in the city, this place has award-winning New England Clam Chowder (way better than the East coast). 3. Beecher's Handmade Cheese; Another local fav, this spot has the BEST mac n' cheese you've ever tasted. Order their "World's Best" Mac & Cheese and let us know your thoughts!
Welcome to our "old" neighborhood! Capitol Hill is also known as the most popular bar district in Seattle with plenty of great restaurants and quirky bars lining Pike St., Pine St., Broadway, and E Olive Way. Below are some of our favorite eateries and drink spots: 1. Bimbo's & Cha Cha; Our local version of better Taco Bell style Mexican food with awesome happy hour specials & killer margaritas! 2. Lindas; Dive bar with a nice outdoor patio in the back. Dog friendly and serves WhiteClaws (Andrew's fav lol) 3. Dino's; Our good friends introduced us to this dive bar/pizza spot for their garlic knots. Let me say, they are ADDICTING & ridiculously delicious! A must if you're in Cap Hill. 4. Montana; This fun, grunge-like bar is 3 doors down from Dino's and has a neon Montana shaped sign out front. Enjoy a Montucky "Cold Snack" while you're there!
