We're getting married

Our story started when we were in the eighth grade. Our brothers played basketball together on the same team, and one day after a game, Pat (my mom) gave Kim (Isaac's mom) a tape to one of PK's (our Pastor) sermons. Kim loved the message and decided to come visit Now Word Covenant Church (our church). After several visits, their family ended up joining the church. Isaac and I celebrated various church events together, but we never thought about each other in "that kind of way". Both of us were chosen to play in our Senior All-Star Basketball Game, and as a result, each of our names were placed on the back of that year's T-Shirt. After each of us attended college, (both playing basketball), we reunited as friends and then started dating. After our engagement, and now soon to be marriage, we will continue the story of God's Plan as this will now become, the full story of........ “Once Upon A Thornton”.
