We know that weddings can be tricky sometimes, so we've included a list of FAQ's to help give you some know-hows.
Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to the limited space and location of our venue, we ask that you do not bring your children unless otherwise noted on your invitation and individually listed on your RSVP.

What is the dress attire?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoor if mother nature cooperates and reception will be indoor on the main level. If the weather turns, the ceremony will be moved indoor.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place in one venue! No need to expect any traveling.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for an hour. Guest can head down to the bar lounge and patio area for cocktail hour.

Can I expect to pay for my drinks?

Answer

We will be hosting a limited quantity of craft beer and wine. Once we've hit the bottom, bar service will flip to cash bar.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Don't worry, the cash bar will be open and snacks will be provided for those who arrive early.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP online by Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is an elevator in the venue and accommodation can be made to ensure you don't miss a thing!

What are the food options?

Answer

Food will be served buffet-style. There will be soup, salad, and two chicken options. You will be able to select your meal option when you RSVP.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

You are more than welcome to take the flowers! But please leave the vases.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate it if you could unplug and turn off your cell phones, cameras, and camcorders during our ceremony. You can turn them all back on after the ceremony to help us capture all the beautiful moments. For any photos posted on social media, please include the hashtag #WhiteRice

Will lodging accommodations be available?

Answer

We have room blocks reserved at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria (15 min from the venue). Dates available for the room block is Thursday, June 30 to Saturday, July 2. You DO NOT need to book for all three nights. Book only for the night(s) you intend to stay. To make reservations, please call 320-763-6577 or use the link provided in the Travel tab in the hotel information. The room block is under Pahchie & Casey.
