Finally! Let's Celebrate!

Love Is Patient...

Although we officially married on May 30th, 2020 in a small ceremony, we plan to have a vow renewal on July 10th, 2021 in front of you, our community of friends and family, to reaffirm our commitment to each other in the presence of your support and love. Afterwards, we look forward to dancing the night away and celebrating together in the way we had originally planned. Some plans have shifted including hotel recommendations and the ceremony venue. Please visit the Travel and Schedule pages for updates. If you RSVP-ed for our wedding in 2020, please double check that the information we have on hand is still correct. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us! For the safety of all guests, please attend only if you are fully vaccinated prior to the date. More information can be found on the FAQ page.
Thank you for respecting our request.

How We Met

May 10, 2013

HOW WE MET: Amy was in her first year of grad school at Savannah College of Art and Design. Bryan was in his first year of opening Savannah Stage Company. Her roommate started dating his brother and they suggested we go on a double date. Sure! The night started with country swing dancing and dive bar karaoke. It ended with fried chicken and star gazing on Tybee Island. There, under the stars with our toes in surf, we shared our first kiss. There is still a debate as to who made the first move, but we've got a lifetime to figure that out. We fell in and out of each other's lives for years as we waded through adulthood trying to figure it all out. But life has a way of bringing you back to the places and people who are important to you. Bryan moved to Raleigh in the summer of 2018 and they've been in bliss renovating their retro home and snuggling their cats. “I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.’” --Kurt Vonnegut
