Bree's version of our story: Josh and I first met at Culver's in 2021. We were co-workers, I knew him as the guy becoming a manager working in South Haven. We didn't talk too much. I just remember training him once and receiving a phone call from him asking me to come in for an interview. It was quite hilarious being I've been working for Culvers now since 2017. It wasn't until we took our first work trip together to Wisconsin that I would talk more with Josh. Well, kind of. Trying to get Josh to talk about nonwork-related things was like pulling teeth. If you know me I would love to talk about work all the time. But, there comes a point on a work trip where you become tired of talking about work so you want to talk about anything but work. When I tried to talk to Josh about things like what he did for fun. Josh would tell me "Nothing is interesting about me". Which was a lie. It wasn't until our second work trip together I could finally get him to tell me a story outside of work-related things. That's when I started to realize we had a lot more in common than just work. Each day I wanted to get to know him more and more and we would talk for hours. We would talk about God, our families, memories, and of course work. I'm glad I was finally able to get to know this wonderful funny, caring, loving, and Christ-centered man. I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life spending hours laughing and sharing endless memories with Josh. Josh's version of our story: Bree and I met at Culver's in 2021. At first we didn't talk much because we were just trying to open the Store in South Haven, there wasn't much time to talk about much. But over time we got to know each other on a professional level, then eventually a personal one. We got to know each other a lot more as time went on. We spent a lot of late nights talking about work and life in the office while we were working until 3am some nights. Our relationship grew from there. We also took a trip to Chicago together and spent a day in the city. We played top-golf, walked up and down the streets, and spent some time in the parks there. I am so glad I got to know Bree. She is always smiling, caring, spontaneous and God-fearing. I am excited to see all of the adventures we will have together for the rest of our lives!
