Can I bring my children to the wedding events?

We kindly request this be an adult-only. We thank you for your understanding.

What if I do not RSVP on time?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back by the date in which we have provided, then we will assume you are unable to attend. We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue an our vendors in the timely manner they have given to us. Due to our venue deadlines, we cannot accept late RSVPs. We thank you for your understanding.

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “not attending” so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! For more information on booking your reservation through our room block, please visit the "Travel" page on our website.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your wedding invitation envelope will state who is invited. If you receive a plus one, then it will state your name and guest on your invitation envelope. Please note, you cannot invite more than what is written on the envelope.

What is the timeline for the events of the day?

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the Ritz-Carlton at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure you have time to find the location of our ceremony space and pick your seat.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will both take place on the Monarch Lawn. Following the ceremony, guests will be directed to the designated cocktail hour area where they will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages. Once cocktail hour ends, guests will be directed to the Terrace Salon Ballroom to celebrate the rest of the evening with dinner and dancing.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate!

I have a dietary restriction. What should I do?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres and dinner that can accommodate a wide variety of dietary restrictions (i.e., vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free). When you RSVP, please indicate your dietary restrictions so we can plan accordingly!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code will be black-tie invited. For the men, a dark suit (navy, grey, etc.) or tuxedo if you’re feeling fancy. For the ladies, a floor length gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing on the wedding day?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride (i.e., whites, ivories, and creams).

Will transportation be provided for the wedding?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided as our venue selection offers accommodations for guests to stay at the same location as our event. If you are not staying at the Ritz-Carlton, then we recommend using Uber/Lyft as transportation to the venue.

Is the Ritz-Carlton located in Laguna Niguel or Dana Point?

Answer

Although the full hotel name is "The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel", the address and location of the Ritz-Carlton is in the city of Dana Point. Here is the correct address you will see populate online and in your navigation: The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel 1 Ritz Carlton Dr Dana Point, CA 92629
