The Wedding Website of Lauren White and Sam Isley
Budapest is uniquely divided into two sides by the beautiful Danube River: Buda and Pest. The Buda side is known for its green hills and tranquil atmosphere; this is also where the hotels offering pickup services are located. On the other hand, the Pest side is bustling with energy and home to many of the city’s main tourist attractions, including museums, restaurants, and landmarks. Please refer to the map above to familiarize yourself with the layout of the city. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you explore the best of both worlds!
Question

How do we get from the airport to our accommodation?

Answer

1. 100E The 100E Airport Express Bus connects the airport directly to the city center (stops at Kálvin tér, Astoria, and Deák Ferenc tér). Tickets: 2,200 HUF (~€6), available from vending machines or via the BudapestGO app. Runs every 10-20 minutes. 2. Főtaxi The official taxi service is Főtaxi, available right outside the airport terminal. Approximate cost to the city center: 8,000-10,000 HUF (~€22-€28). Confirm the address with the driver before starting the trip. 3.Bolt (Hungarian Uber ) Bolt, a popular ridesharing app in Budapest, is an affordable and convenient option. Approximate cost to the city center: 6,000-9,000 HUF (~€16-€25), depending on traffic and time of day. Download the Bolt app and order a ride directly from the airport. 4. Uber Uber has just arrived in Budapest, Hungary. This is also an option.
