We are requesting that guest attire be to the standard of "Montana Formal". This means that nice jeans, collared dress shirts, or sundresses are permissible. Sandals, shorts, T-shirts (especially printed), clothes with holes are not. Additionally, in respect to the bride and tradition, anything white or resembling white is also not permitted.
Should the mountain ceremony be compromised due to weather, the ceremony location will be moved to the reception location. If this should be the case, we will notify all guests prior as best we can.
Address: 305 Ski Run Rd, Red Lodge, MT 59068 If traveling southwest through Red Lodge on highway 212, on the right of the far side of town, just past the "Chateau Rouge" motel, will be "West Fork Road". Take "West Fork Road" roughly 2.8 miles until it does a "U-turn" and changes into "Ski Run Road". This will take you all the way to the Red Lodge Mountain ski resort parking lot.
Yes! The ceremony is scheduled to start at 3:00. However, you will be required to sign a waiver and ascend the mountain prior to the beginning of the ceremony. Please plan to arrive around 1 hour early to ensure ample time, as it will take roughly 30 minutes to get from your parking spot to your seat and we'd hate to not see you up there! Please note that it takes, roughly, 15 minutes to get to the ski resort from the town of Red Lodge, depending on traffic.
No. A shuttle up to the ceremony area will be provided to guests who request it when they RSVP. Please note that the shuttle will be limited to guests who have reasonable limitations that prevent them from utilizing the ski lift.
Address: 828 Upper Continental Dr, Red Lodge, MT 59068 If traveling from the ceremony, start by making your way down the mountain and back to Highway 212 (Red Lodge). On the far northeast side of Red Lodge, next to the Town Pump gas station, there is a traffic circle. Take the 3rd exit so that you are traveling on "State Highway 78" towards Absarokee, MT. Roughly 1/2 mile past the cemetery, turn right onto "Upper Continental Drive" - if you have driven to the point where the road veers left towards the mountains, you have gone too far. On the right, just past the first set of houses, will be the Red Lodge Mountain Grand Ballroom. The reception will be upstairs.
No. Due to state law, no outside alcohol is permitted at either venue. Should you choose to not adhere to this, venue staff will confiscate your beverages and may ask you to leave. Additionally, the newlywed couple may also be fined several hundred dollars per occurrence.
