Things To Do

Brick and Porter

47 Monroe Center Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

This is a fun spot downtown where the bride & groom actually had their very first date! (Yes, the infamous 10+ hour first date 🤭). It is conveniently located downtown just minutes from our wedding venue and has a great variety of options for food & drinks.

Buffalo Traders Lounge

950 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

One of our favorite cocktail lounges to go to. Delicious cocktails with a cozy, moody ambiance. This is just a few minutes down the road from the wedding venue. We had some of our engagement photos taken here as well.

Butcher's Union

438 Bridge Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

One of our favorite restaurants. Great service every time and you certainly never leave hungry. You can never go wrong with their meatloaf or steak. They also have delicious cocktails.

The Friesian Gastro Pub

720 Michigan Street Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Another one of our favorites. Smaller menu but the food is always fantastic. Great Gluten Free options. They have a little rooftop bar/dining area, weather permitting. This restaurant is also just minutes down the road from the Hampton Inn, should you choose to stay there.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

1000 East Beltline Avenue Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49525

There are always fun events happening in the spring & summer. Check out their link to find out more!

Fulton Street Market

1145 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

One of our favorite markets in Grand Rapids whether you’re in the mood to buy some fresh, local fruits and veggies or find unique, locally made hand soaps, jewelry and art to name a few.

Grand Rapids Public Museum

272 Pearl Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

This is a wonderful place to visit if you would like to take a walk down memory lane and learn all about the history and charm of Grand Rapids. The village of Grand Rapids was first established back in 1838 so it’s fascinating to see how the city has evolved and grown all these years later to what it is now.

John Ball Zoo

1300 Fulton Street West, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

The zoo is just a short 10-15 minute drive from the wedding venue and is a fun place to meet some new furry friends.

White Pine Trail

White Pine Trail, Grand Rapids, MI

This is a great trail to check out if you’re in the mood for a walk, run or bike ride to see different parts of Grand Rapids.
