It was any other morning at the happiest place on Earth, Unique Fitness, when we locked eyes for the first time. Each morning after that, we would stare at each other from across the crowded gym. Eventually (months later), we worked up the courage to wave at one another for the first time. A few months after that, we made our way to utter a brief "morning" in passing. All in all, it took about a year before Richie DM'd me on Instagram on July 29, 2023. His first message read, "Well, last place I'd ever think to see you pop up on. My discover page." Very slick Rich. Turns out, he was a liar who had known my name from the gym's Instagram account all along. It just took him a little while to work up the courage. Messaging turned to texting which led to our first date. And the rest is history...
