How did we meet?

Colin & Kara met the old-fashioned way... at a bar. Depending on who you ask, one might say it was love at first sight. The other might say, "You were a pain in the A**!". You're probably thinking, "Please explain", and if you're visiting this page, you have already probably heard this story once or twice... or a hundred times. Colin was a patron at good ole' Ryan's Pub in Manayunk and Kara was his waitress. Colin thought he was just in for a night of "beers with the boys" and Kara was covering a co-worker's shift. Little did the two of them know that this night was going to be one of the most pivotal nights of their lives, but, not without a few hurdles along the way! Kara gave Colin a "free" beer after one of his friends had knocked it over. In typical male and "Devlin" fashion, Colin's brother, Chris, said, "Dude she's flirting with you." Colin sought this out as an opportunity to ask Kara if he could buy her a drink. Kara politely said, "No", but after being asked at least five separate times, she agreed to have a drink with him, if he was still there at the end of her shift. So, what did Colin do? He waited FOUR HOURS for Kara to finish up her shift, and he bought her that drink. The drink of choice? Grape Gatorade shots - of course. This is not where the story ends. Kara had gone to the bathroom to change out of her work clothes and when she returned, Colin was nowhere to be found. All that was left at the table where he sat was three empty shot glasses and one still full. Kara took the shot and went about her night, thinking she'd never see him again. A few weeks later Colin & Kara ran into each other again at Ryan's Pub (shocker). This time Colin had to put in extra work to smooth things over after ditching Kara the first time. Eventually Kara gave in and gave Colin her number, they went on their first date at Lucky's Last Chance in Manayunk, and the rest was history.
