Let's Do This!

Despite their terrible golf skills, Alex and Liz met at Red Tail Golf Club in May 2011. Alex was pursuing his career in Turf Management and Liz was working as a server / bartender and beverage cart girl to make some cash during summer break while at Suffolk University. Alex was parched one day (he didn't plan this at all) when he approached Liz and asked if she could spare a "free water." After some friendly conversation and a very polite handshake, Alex asked Liz out on a date. They spend the next few months of the summer taking day trips to the city, going to Red Sox games, and when Liz went back to school, they decided to make it official.

One thing we bond over is our love of the holidays. Over the years, Christmas Eve morning has become our time to enjoy our little decorated Newton apartment, make brunch and exchange stockings and gifts before hitting the road to visit our families. This year when Liz opened her stocking she was surprised to see a Bobby Brown box - a) because she's never mentioned that brand to Alex before and b) that he picked that out on his own. She opened the box to find another box inside and Alex on one knee in front of her. After many laughs and tears, Alex, full of relief, proceeded to eat both of their breakfasts. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
