Question

Why did it take so long for me to get my invitation?

Answer

You may notice that our beautiful venue is located in Ryan's hometown - The Pacific Palisades. As many know, there was a wildfire in January of this year that tore through the town of the Palisades, devastating the area. Our venue was able to survive the fires and any damage has apparently been repaired, but the area is still blocked off to the public until the end of May - including the venue. We didn't know if we needed to reschedule the whole thing until far later than was ideal - but we are so excited to welcome you all as planned!

Is it safe in the Pacific Palisades?

Answer

Yes! The local government has been very open about how safe the area will be, and the Bel-Air Bay Club did their own additional testing on the soil, water, etc. to ensure that things were safe as well. As the Palisades rebuild, we are thankful that we can use our special day to start building new, happy memories in the town that helped shape Ryan into the man he is today!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There sure is! The dress code is formal - which traditionally includes cocktail dresses, floor length dresses, suits or tuxes. You are obviously not limited to these choices, we encourage you to be creative - our families and chosen families are inclusive of a beautiful range of cultures and styles and we can't wait to see how you all show off! Y'all know that we always turn a look - we're excited to see yours!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate the amount of seats we have reserved for you. If you are interested in bringing someone that we have not identified directly, please run this by us first. If you arrive at the wedding with someone that we do not have an RSVP for, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate them. We hope you understand.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

There are only a few children from the family that will be attending the wedding, and they will be clearly listed as your guest when you RSVP. If your children are not listed, we kindly ask that you find a babysitter.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please check the "Accommodations" tab for some local hotels that we put together for you. We also highly recommend looking into Airbnb and Vrbo, as there are many cool options in the area!
