Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

Children are welcome, but babysitters are encouraged. We want you to show up and have fun worry-free! We trust you to know whether that means bringing your children to celebrate with us or leaving them at home so you can dance the night away. Please reach out to the couple with any questions or concerns. We are more than happy to help find childcare in the area if you would like to travel with your children but leave them under watchful care during the festivities.

Can I bring a plus one?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one! Please indicate their attendance when you RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear full length, midi, or knee length dresses, dressy separates, or suits, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants. Summer and garden party looks encouraged!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the Dallas Arboretum. The parking will be at Entry 1, and the cost of parking is included. You may access the link on the Travel & Transportation page to register your vehicle or wait until arrival to register.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the reception will take place indoors. We will provide handheld fans to help guests stay cool. In case of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place in our indoor reception space.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! The travel page is updated with details. Guests that wish to book a room as part of the block will need to do so by July 31, 2026 in order to be eligible for the discounted rate.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 6pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled. The wedding location is a few minutes walk from the main entrance, please plan accordingly.
