There are a number of small details that are making our day extra special. Here are just a few: 1. Kate's dress is made by a New Hampshire designer and her friend and former co-worker at RIF, Fionna Clark, is doing the alterations. 2. The center pieces are antique items from the Santa Fe railroad where Brians' grandpa and dad worked. Similarly, the books are from the late 19th and early 20th century and come from the Santa Fe railroad library. Brian's grandpa is generously letting us use them for decor. 3. The song Kate is walking down the aisle to is not only her favorite song, but is performed by a Topeka artist. Brian is from Topeka. 4. You are going to hear songs in other languages over the weekend. We are including songs we fell in love with while traveling together!
