Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

June 1st, 2025

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 7pm. You are encouraged to arrive whenever you would like and as early as you would like to set up camp if needed or otherwise hang out and enjoy the park.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Mt Blue State Park Campground is not a clothing-optional state-sponsored campground. Please do wear some clothing. Otherwise, there is literally, for real, no dress code. Please show up as your authentic self. Elf ears are highly encouraged. They come in all sizes.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are rich in love and want for nothing at this time. If you would like to donate to our honey fund, you can do so here <> or directly through paypal/venmo <>. We are not registered on this website, but are unable to hide the "registry" tab. It will take you to an alternate universe when you click it. Our apologies!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are absolutely welcome and encouraged to come. You are welcome to lie to your children and tell them they aren't if you wish to have some child-free time. We will back up your lie for the rest of their lives.

Question

Are pets allowed at Mt Blue?

Answer

Yes, pets are allowed at Mt Blue. Please be advised that we will have our dog at the group site. She is aggressive towards other dogs, and we would not recommend staying near us if you are bringing a pup. We always have her on leash and are able to manage her fairly well, but she is a very reactive rescue fur-baby.

Question

Where can we stay on the campground? How long can we stay?

Answer

We will have the group camp site from Friday June 27th - Tuesday July, 1st, 2025. You are welcome to tent on this site or get in touch with us if you need RV parking (there is limited RV parking at the group site). We will cover the cost of anyone who wants to stay on the group site for the night of the wedding. After that, it is $6 per person/night, and we just ask for your assistance to cover that cost beyond the wedding night. Otherwise, you can reserve your own site in the campground via this website https://www.campwithme.com/ or call the campground at (207) 624-9950 (from out of state numbers) or 800-332-1501 (from in state numbers). Once on the website, you will need to select the campground (Mt Blue) and start date of your planned camping trip. Sites range from $20-40 per night depending on your needs and whether you are an in-state Mainer. We will see you there! Let us know if you run into any issues! We have reserved multiple times and can help you through the process. If you need an RV site with hookups, we recommend booking ASAP!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel recommendations and other options are available under the travel tab on this site! The closest towns are Wilton and Farmington, ME!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at Mt Blue in the main area by the lake. We will update with more parking info when we get it from the rangers.

Question

What can I do at Mt Blue State Park Campground?

Answer

Mt Blue has kayak and canoe rentals, a lake swimming area/beach with a lifeguard, multiple nature trails, a playground, and a boat launch. Mt Blue has clean/warm showers and flush toilets at select areas in the park. They have shelter outhouses near to all campsites set up around the campground.
