Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Dressy Casual: Feel free to wear a nice collared shirt, sundress, suit and tie, and gown. etc. This is an all-day outdoor event and Stiletto-style heals are not recommended for grass. Use this link for a good guide to Dressy Casual https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-dressy-casual

Question

Do I Have a Plus One?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request you leave the kids at home (unless specifically invited). Take this weekend as a chance to get away for 2 days!

Question

What about Food Before the Wedding?

Answer

If you are staying at the Frost Valley YMCA there is a dining hall that will provide Saturday Breakfast, Saturday Lunch, and Sunday Breakfast (price built into your accommodation cost)! Otherwise, there are local eateries in nearby Liberty, NY to enjoy Breakfast and/or lunch on Saturday and Sunday. The Russian Mule Brewery will be open for food and drinks on Friday Night!

Question

How is the Parking?

Answer

There is ample on-site parking at both the wedding venue and the YMCA.

Question

Is there a Shuttle to the Ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There will be shuttles provided from the Frost Valley YMCA to Blue Hill Cat Skills. There will be one Shuttle that will leave the YMCA between 2:30-2:45. Another Shuttle will Provide a Return Trip after festivities conclude at 9:00 pm and a final shuttle after the After Party at 11:00 pm.

Question

What if I cannot make it until Saturday?

Answer

Guests' accommodations at the YMCA are booked and priced for a Friday-Sunday stay. If you cannot make it on Friday, you will either need to book your own accommodations or book a room with someone else who can make it on Friday so they may check-in and provide you access to the room on Saturday.

Question

Do I have to Stay for the Whole Weekend?

Answer

No! If you do not mind a 5-hour round-trip drive, you are more than welcome to join us for the wedding festivities on Saturday only.
