I'm not great at stories so here it is in a nutshell... 2003 fall semester of high school, blind date - homecoming, got stood-up a week before the dance! He didn't even get to meet me yet. He apologized over IM and asked to meet me a week later to make up for it. We met - most awkward encounter with my parents home - LOL. 1 year later... Summer 2004, saw him at a party break dancing and never stopped chasing him since.

We both expected our trip to Burning Man to be unpredictable, astonishing and something we would remember for the rest of our lives. Little did I know, it was going to be the most unpredictable and completely astonishing moment I would ever have! It was almost sunrise and we both wanted to see the sun rising in the middle of deep playa. As the sun peaked over the horizon, Eric looked to me, asked if he makes me happy - I say, of course you do! He then goes to one knee and the first thing I thought was "Are you serious?" and I'm sure he was thinking - of course I am! I'm on one knee! My second thought was "Are you sure?" He smiled with a little chuckle and said yes. It wasn't a question I didn't know the answer to, I've known I wanted to share my forever with him since we were 18. So here we are - I said YES! And I guess - he did too! Now all the people we love in our lives can celebrate with us!
