On the last day of classes our freshman year of college, Colin and I both attended a party off campus. In the low light we met, by the water cooler of course, and began talking on and on about our similarities and he promised he would see me at work the next day. He made good on his late night promise and that next morning he said hello to me on my last day of work. On my birthday two days later, he saw me eating with a friend at an off campus restaurant, but chose not to say hi. We later found each other again online, where he abruptly messaged me, "Were you at Chipotle yesterday", and the rest was history.
On a trip to Chicago in attempt to see fall foliage, we had a wonderful day exploring the city and sightseeing. That evening Colin bought tickets to take us up the Hancock Building, but on the way we stopped by a cute park to take pictures in the middle of the city. While taking photos, Colin told me to turn around so he could get a photo from behind of me looking up at the buildings and when I turned around he was on one knee. Let's just say it was the easiest "yes" I've ever said.
