Where is the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married at the Holiday Resort in Mount Ascutney, VT. The resort is located at 485 Hotel Road, Brownsville, VT 05037.

Where should people stay?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms for the wedding, however they are limited. We are recommending booking rooms far in advance at the Holiday Resort, however there are bed and breakfasts, other hotels and camping options throughout the area if there are no rooms available.

Where is the actual ceremony and reception?

Answer

Everything is onsite at the Holiday Inn Resort. The ceremony, reception, after party and breakfast will all be onsite. No travel will be required once you have checked into the resort the weekend of the 9th.

How far is the wedding from New Jersey?

Answer

The resort is located approximately 4 and a half hours from northern New Jersey. Brownsville, VT is off 91 and is a very easy drive through New England.

What accommodations does the resort offer?

Answer

There is a ton of stuff to do at the resort. There is a great restaurant in the hotel called the Maple Kitchen. There is a swimming pool and gym. There are also other activities offered, however due to Covid, we are unaware if they will be available at the time of the wedding. These include game rooms, movies, billiards and many other things. Some rooms, depending on which you decide to book, include full kitchens as well. Fall in Vermont is especially beautiful. The leaves will be a the peak of changing at the time of the wedding, so enjoy the views. There is a ton of hiking and mountain biking right onsite. There is also a great attraction down the road called Quechee Gorge which Amanda and I both recommend going to. The tourist area includes shopping and amazing scenic views.
