On October 11, 2024, we said "I do." Although we chose a small, intimate elopement ceremony, please know you were with us in spirit. We (well, mostly Jess) have handpicked some photos to share with you, hoping they make you feel as if you were right there with us. After getting engaged last June while swimming in the warm waters of Ke‘e Beach along the breathtaking Nā Pali coast of Kauai, we decided to tie the knot along Oregon’s rugged coastline. We were joined by a small group of close family members, making a short walk from an unmarked parking spot off Highway 101 into Samuel H. Boardman State Park. Just a ten-minute walk from the highway, we stood on a secluded overlook where rugged cliffs met the pounding surf of the Pacific Ocean. Offshore, rock formations covered in lush greenery framed the view, while pampas grass and wind-shaped cypress trees surrounded us on land. Though known for its moody and unpredictable weather, the coast gifted us an ideal day, and the rain held off until after dinner. Our family members took on the roles of guests, chefs, decorators, florists, hair & makeup artists, servers, and cleanup crew, creating an unforgettable experience that made our day so incredibly special.
