Nick and Sarah grew up 40 minutes apart from each other, but they didn't meet until Thanksgiving night of 2021 at a Karaoke night in Evansville. Nick was in town from St. Louis, and Sarah was living in Evansville. Sarah was aware she was being set up on a blind date, but Nick didn't find out until his cousin, Alex, was driving them there! When Sarah and Nick finally met, there was instant attraction. An hour into talking with Nick, Sarah turned to Alex and said "I'm going to marry your cousin." She was right! They had their first date the next night, and Sarah joined Nick at a Friendsgiving the night after that. Sunday, they watched their first movie together: A Star is Born. Before Nick could head back to St. Louis on Monday, he got a text from Sarah saying she was sick and had tested positive for COVID. Sure enough, Nick went and got tested, and he had it too. Nick was sick by Tuesday, and there was only one person he could spend time with... Nick and Sarah had dinner in her Evansville apartment 7 of the next 10 days. A year later, they moved to Nashville. Now, after over 4 years together... they're getting married!
