Either or both options are acceptable, but if it's getting close to the "Respond By" date than Online is preferred.
The Ceremony is at the Camden County Boathouse (7050 N Park Dr, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109). We are currently planning to hold our ceremony at their outside ceremony location next to the building just off the water. Global warming and historical weather shows the temperature is typically upper 40s to upper 60s on that day. Though weather dependent, IF we move to having the ceremony indoors. it will be on the second floor of the Boathouse building. Staff will guide guest to either the stairs or elevators located next to the front entrance
The reception is located at the same venue as the ceremony, so guests will begin the cocktail hour on the second floor of the Boathouse from 4pm-5pm, and seated at their tables back in the ballroom on the same floor at 5pm.
If you check satellite layer of you favorite Map app (the googles), the staff informed us of the following parking information. The smaller lot located next to the venue as well as the parking lot directly across the street are both available to us and our guest throughout the day. Also the entirety of the road in front of the venue (N Park Drive) allows for parallel parking, to our non-philly guest get that practice in now while you can. Otherwise feel free to park in the public lot just past the Boathouse, it is 0.1miles and just a 2 minute walk.
The closest hotel is the "DoubleTree by Hilton Cherry Hill Philadelphia", it is 1.3miles from the ceremony. The wedding venue staff informed us that the hotel also had a shuttle service that will drop you off at the boathouse. There is also a Best Western and Holiday Inn option in the area as well, more info can be found on the "Travel" tab above.
Feel free to dress to impress, at least semi-formal attire. Use my friend Google/Pintrest if you are unsure...I was also suprised that no type of jeans are considered to be semi-formal, now go out there and buy some slacks. Also the Mother of the Groom and Sisters of the Bride have stated they will fight anyone on site if they're found wearing white.
During the Cocktail Hour there will be a variety of food dishes being served including beef, chicken, lobster, and vegetarian options. The reception is going to be buffet style with the options Pan Seared Filet Mignon Au Poivre, Crab Cakes, and Parm Crusted chicken. There will be Caesar salad, roasted vegetable and potatoes served at this time as well.
Sorry only if your invitation has a plus one or guest specified. If you inform us early on about a request for a plus one, can let you know once we have received all other RSVP if there is an "Opening", but this will be a first come-first serve request. This REQUEST must be for someone 21+, also sorry but there will be no preferential treatment in this back-filling/waiting-list of Plus Ones. Thanks!
