Brittney and Cameron have been in each others lives for seven years. They met while attending Baraboo Sauk County | UW-Platteville (formally known as BooU) sophomore year in biology class. Study dates turned into real dates and eventually Cameron would follow Brittney to UW-Whitewater where they continued their studies. While in Whitewater they quickly learned the quirks of one another. Before they knew it, it was college graduation and they were off to start their adult lives. Since college graduation, Brittney and Cameron have found their passions in life and with one another. Despite evolving times and changing circumstances, their love for each other has remained consistent.

Cameron FINALLY got down on one knee on September 20th, 2019 at one of his and Brittney's favorite spots - Parfrey's Glen. The week of the proposal Brittney began to notice Cameron’s odd behavior. He asked her if they could go hiking after she was done with work on Friday. Cameron wanted to know Brittney's entire timeline for that Friday. Another time, Cameron and Brittney were folding laundry when Cameron’s father, Steve, called and asked to speak to him about Friday. As soon as the conversation was overheard by Brittney, Cameron RAN out of the room. Brittney began to speculate what was going to occur on Friday with coworkers and friends. 
 Friday came and Cameron and Brittney left their house to go hiking. When they started hiking, Brittney complained that there were people following them. Cameron assured her that it would be okay. Little did she know, Cameron had set up to have the proposal photographed. They hiked all the way back to the waterfall where Cameron stated, “You know I love you, right?” Brittney replied, “Yes..” Cameron stated, “You know I want to spend forever with you, right?” And Brittney replied, “This is what this is, isn’t it?” Cameron nodded and got down on one knee. He then asked Brittney if she would marry him. Brittney of course said “YES!” Cameron continued to smile and stare at Brittney before Brittney asked if he was going to put the ring on her hand or if she had to put it on herself. Cameron placed the ring on her finger and stated that their families would be waiting for them in the parking lot. Cameron and Brittney hiked back out and no family members were there. Cameron looked at Brittney and said, “Oh no. I was so nervous I forgot to text our parents when we left the house earlier.” Their parents later greeted them with champagne and a picnic spread.
