FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Due to the venue's extremely limited ceremony capacity, we request that ceremony guests be 18+. The reception on 12/29 is open to everyone!

Question

Will the roads be clear?

Answer

Portland generally does not get white Christmases, and Timberline Lodge maintains their roads extremely well. We would still advise planning on needing traction tires and/or devices.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 10/21.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The drive to Timberline Lodge from the Portland Metro Area can take anywhere from 45-90 minutes but due to the time of year, we recommend planning for at least an extra 30 minutes. If you get there early, you can explore the historic lodge!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Ceremony: Unless we explicitly specify, we request that you do not bring a +1. We were extremely limited on the number of people that could attend the ceremony, and while we wish that every person we know and love could be there with us, we had to be selective. Reception: You are welcome to bring a date to the reception! Though the snacks are first-come-first-served so we recommend getting there at the start if you're feeling a hankering for some cookies or donuts.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking lot parking for the ceremony, and the reception will have a small parking lot and lots of free street parking.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you are attending the ceremony and wanting to stay on Mt. Hood for a night or two, we recommend booking as soon as possible.
