Get ready! Our wedding is going to be quite the adventure.
Wear some boots or walking shoes and plan to hike a quarter mile
up 180 feet of elevation.
We promise it will be worth it :-)
We will greet you at the top of Rocky Knob Mountain with drinks and hor d’oeuvres between 3:00–4:00pm.
If you will require assistance to get up the mountain, please make a note on your RSVP card; we will have a limited number of seats to shuttle.
Following our ceremony, we will walk down the mountain and head to The Pavilion at Lake Rabun, for a 7:30pm reception.
If you are unable to make it up the mountain, we’d love to have you greet us at the reception.
At this point, throw on your dancing shoes, because pizza and dancing is the name of the game for the rest of the night!
Question
Where do I send my RSVP?
Answer
Yeah - sorrrrrry. We forgot to put the address on the return envelope.
Please send to:
Maddie O'Bryan
2919 Glenwood Avenue SE
Atlanta Georgia 30317
Question
So I really shouldn't wear heels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yeah - no heels ladies! Leave those in the car for the reception. We seriously recommend shoes you feel comfortable walking up a gravel road in. It's not a far hike, but it will feel far in stilettos.
Question
Where do I park for the ceremony?
Answer
You will park in the Rocky Knob Neighborhood. Drive through the gate and you will be directed by parking attendants. Carpool when possible :)
Question
Where do I park for the reception?
Answer
The Lake Rabun Pavilion has plenty of parking right at the venue. Just follow the address to the parking lot.
Question
Can I get a ride up the mountain?
Answer
Yes, but we have a very limited amount of seats, so let us know.
Question
Where is the best place to rent a house / Hotel ?
Answer
We recommend Lake Rabun Hotel, anywhere in Clayton or Scaly mountain. A little driving will be required, but these are all pretty central!
Question
So Matt is the best man, but whose the worst man?
Answer
Patrick Mangan, of course.
Question
Can I bring the kids?
Answer
We love kids - but we also want all our guests to be present and free to celebrate, so if you can, we recommend dropping the kiddos at the in-laws. But we will have an option for a baby sitter during the ceremony, so please reach out if that's needed.
