Where & when is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be taking place in the chapel which is right as you walk into the heritage park. After our ceremony the lovely team at Ferrymead will be taking you on a wee ride on the tram after our group photos and congratulations! This will be approximately 4pm. The Tram will then drop you off at the Friendly society Hall which will be where our reception begins. Enjoy "cocktail" hour while you wait for us to return and then have dinner and more festivities. Our ceremony starts at 3pm and will be ending the night at 11pm

How to RSVP & by when?

Answer

To RSVP, click the ‘RSVP’ tab and type the first and last name. Kindly RSVP before Monday, September 1st, 2025 We will be anxiously awaiting for your response and look forward to celebrating with you!

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by September 1st, 2025, you will be marked as “Not Attending.” We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP’s. (Unfortunately, this will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day as there will be no seating, food or drink accommodations for you) While we will send out reminders & invitations early, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate your understanding!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate “Will Not Attend” on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending”, but find that you cannot make it, please notify Jason or Courtney as soon as you are aware. Thank you!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive 20mins prior to our ceremony start time of 3PM to ensure enough time to park and find a seat prior to the ceremony beginning.

There is parking right outside the Heritage park on the right or left.

What should I do if i arrive late?

Answer

Unfortunately anybody who is late to the ceremony will not be allowed to interrupt the ceremony to come in, Please wait outside the chapel until we have finished our "I do's"

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an Unplugged Ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones/cameras be put away and silenced. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos and video as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like! We highly encourage this just be mindful of the photographer and content creators! We also kindly ask you don't post any on social until the Bride has done so herself. We would also appreciate all photos to be sent through to Courtney via courtneyw_08@hotmail.com so we can cherish them for years to come!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Semi - formal please. We kindly request our guests to avoid wearing any jeans and to please reserve the colour white for the bride.

Will kids be invited?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep the exception of some immediate family. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those formally listed. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we are all about helping yourself and no bartender will be provided, but please don't go crazy as to allow others to enjoy too. We kindly ask you leave all alcohol when you leave the premises, our alcohol is not for you to take home. There will be wine and beer available, if these aren't suited to you, you are welcome to bring along your own.
