We’re getting married!

We both ended up in Ocean Beach, Fire Island on Labor Day weekend. A favorite spot for both of us - I was with my Maid of Honor Emily and Bridesmaid Lilly, Matt with his Groomsmen Justin. At Sandbar, because of Covid, they social distanced each table with giant American flags. Matt thought I was beautiful but couldn’t come say hello because of the flags. Hours go by, and we were supposed to go to a party. But we decided to drop by one last bar, CJ’s, for spicy margaritas. I ended up sitting right next to Matthew. I never ended up at that party and we've been together ever since. Cheers to love ❤️ - Kat

Matt and I were driving from Miami to New York to visit family. We drove about 20 hours straight. Well, I mostly slept, Matt drove. On the drive he casually mentioned we should head out to the Hamptons to go to the wineries while we were home. He told me to get ready, we were going to go out east. We ended up at Wölffer Estate Vineyard and he led me to walk through the grapevines before our “wine-tasting reservation”. We ended up at a beautiful gazebo. He got down on one knee and proposed, with champagne nearby, of course, ready to pop. The rest was a beautiful, happy blur. 🥂 ❤️ - Kat
