Where should I stay?

Answer

Our venue, Stone Haven, is not near any major cities. However, there are some hotels in Scottsboro, AL that we would recommend, such as the Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn, there is a hotel block with a discounted group rate. Other options include an AirBnb or VRBO or Guntersville State Park Lodge. Please see the travel page for more information.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see everyone dressed up! Think semi-formal or formal when choosing an outfit. Please note: shorts, jeans, t-shirts, hats, and sneakers are unacceptable.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

When you RSVP, there will be a spot for a plus one if we have allotted one for you.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, and would love for them to be present for all the fun! We have accounted for most children on RSVPs.

Please respond by October 7, 2026.

Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking photos and videos with your cell phone during the ceremony. We have paid for an excellent photographer and want to see everyone's face instead of their phone.
