Maid of Honor
Choosing a Maid of Honor was an easy decision for Shelby. Marina is her older sister and one of her closest friends. She was there for her through her mischievous childhood years, the awkward phases of being a teenager, and now-adulthood. She has always been there for Shelby and she couldn't have asked for a better sister or Maid of Honor.
Brett Becker
Best Man
Brett is Richard's best man. They have been friends since middle school, but really became close during their high school years- some may say they were inseperable and they practically lived at each other's houses. Richard considers him a brother and they have always shared a passion for exploring, off-roading, shooting, riding bikes, and many other outdoor activities.
Maegen Wheeler
Bridesmaid
Mae is Richard's sister and one of Shelby's closest friends. Richard and Mae have been best friends growing up and continue to be today. Shelby and her have gotten closer and closer as the years have passed and they have all created so many memories together. She is always willing to do anything for the both of them and they both love her dearly.
Grant Braun
Groomsman
Grant is Shelby's oldest brother and one of Richard's best friends. Richard and him have a mutual love for riding dirt bikes, and spend most of their time together either riding, or talking about when the next time they are going to go riding. He has been a good friend and brother his entire life and will always have both of their backs.
Samantha Vallejo
Bridesmaid
Sam and Shelby met through Brett, Richard's best man. Their friendship started with awkward double dates, and progressed into many Nail and Starbs dates. They bonded over their mutual love of Handbags (Micheal Kors and Kate Spade in particular) and their love for adventure and camping. Sam is the sweetest, most caring friend that Shelby has ever had and she feels honored to have her as a bridesmaid.
Tyson Braun
Groomsman
Tyson- Tys- T-bone- is Shelby's youngest sibling. Tyson often referred to Richard as his "bestie" in his younger years. Tyson and Richard love to skate together- and compete with each other on who can do better tricks. Both Shelby and Richard have a special brotherly love for Tyson and couldn't be happier to have him in their wedding party.
Hannah Yzaguirre
Bridesmaid
Hannah and Shelby met in middle school- and have been friends ever sense. They spent almost everyday together in 6th grade, along with their other best friend Aldo. Their friendship progressed in high school and got even closer their senior year. Hannah was actually there when Shelby and Richard met. She has been the most supportive and helpful friend throughout the years. So it was a no-brainer when Shelby was picking her bridesmaids that Hannah would be standing by her side.
Jason Allin
Groomsman
Jason is a good friend of both the groom and the bride- so it was no surprise that Richard asked him to be a groomsman. He has always been a great friend and willing to do anything to help them out. He is one of Richard's best friends, personal photographer, and one of the funniest people to be around. They have become so close during the last couple years that Hannah and Shelby always joke about them liking each other more than they like them.
Lexi Vasquez
Bridesmaid
Lexi has been Shelby's best friend for nearly 9 years. Their friendship started in 8th grade P.E. while they pretended to be out in dodgeball so they didn't have to play. Lets just say they weren't the athletic type. They shared a mutual weirdness (lets not forget Lexi's love for neon skinny jeans). They have shared tears and MANY laughs and Shelby believes they will be best friends for a lifetime.
Ty Kirtley
Groomsman
Richard and Shelby both consider Ty family. When they were thinking about who to ask to be in their wedding party, they asked each other who would make it the most fun, and they both had the same answer- Ty. Richard met him back in high school and they instantly connected. They enjoy the same things and got very close in a short amount of time. Ty is always a good time and they have made many good and crazy memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Stephanie Ramirez
Bridesmaid
Steph is one of Shelby's best friends. They met through Cody, Steph's soon to be hubby and Shelby's long-term friend. Their friendship kicked off at spur of the moment trip to Stagecoach in 2018. After the adventurous weekend, Shelby and Steph became incredibly close. They always have a good time together no matter what they do, and their friendship grows stronger each time.
Derek Villa
Groomsman
Richard and Derek have been friends for over 5 years, and were even roomates for a short time. They met at Toyota of Redlands and instantly bonded over off-roading, going about 3-4 times a week. They still continue to make it a monthly routine. Derek isn't only fun to be around, but he also has always been there for support for Richard and Shelby. They both are happy to have him by their side on their special day.
