How to RSVP to the cruise line?

You can book online or call 1-866-562-7625 To be within our group (dining, rooms, etc.) please make sure you mention you are with the Wheatley/Avis wedding for Saturday June 27th 2020 out of New Orleans. Our booking number is: 8899745. There is an option for a monthly payment plan. The representatives are very helpful, and will guide you through rooms and accommodation.

Group rates?

Answer

So in order to receive a “group rate,” at least 8 rooms have to be booked, THEN everyone will receive a $50 CREDIT to either your room or to use toward an excursion. It does not matter when you book it, or if you were the 1st, 2nd or 8th person to book.. as long as there is at least 8 rooms that are accounted for and you mention that you are in our wedding group, then a group rate credit is received once everyone attending the wedding has confirmed.

What cruise line will we be on?

We booked a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean. The ship will be The Majesty of the Seas. Port of call will be in New Orleans at 3pm. 1350 Port of New Orleans Pl New Orleans, LA 70130 Keep in mind you will need to arrive a couple hours early to go through security and customs.

Day 1: We disembark on Saturday June 27th 2020 at 3pm in New Orleans. Day 2: The wedding day (Sunday 06/28/2020), we will be out at sea this day. The ceremony & reception will be held at The Viking Crown Lounge at 13:00 Day 3: Cozumel, Mexico - ship arrives @ 10:30am | departure @ 19:00 (7pm) Day 4: Puerto Costa Maya - ship arrives @ 8am | departure @ 18:00 (6pm) Day 5: Belize City, Belize - ship arrives @ 7:00am | departure @ 17:00 (5pm) Day 6: at sea Day 7: at sea Day 8: New Orleans - ship arrives @ 7:00am

When and where is the wedding?

We will have the ceremony & reception at the Viking Crown Lounge. The reception will have cocktails and h’orderves then dinner to follow at the main dining room. It will be on Day 2 while we are out at sea, on Sunday June 28th, 2020 at 1pm.

For our guest, please feel free to wear what is comfortable for you. For the wedding party, please refer to the menu and click “Wedding Party Attire.”

Are we having a bachelor/bachelorette party?

Answer

We’ve decided not to have a traditional or scheduled party. Previously we mention having a joint party but because of the cruise itinerary, we wanted to have the wedding sooner than later so we’re not all exhausted at the end. But don’t worry, we’ll be partying all week!

We decided not to have a registry because all we need is our family and friends. In lieu of a gift, leave your troubles behind.
